Each of the chapters of Popular Styles for Drums 2 provides a step-by-step approach: after a short introduction to the style, an intensive practice unit with training grooves follows. These grooves gradually become more advanced and challenging. Each chapter is then rounded off with an authentic band arrangement (including a photocopiable lead sheet), which emphasizes special stylistic features and facilitates the practical use of what has just been learned.
In addition to the exercises and practical tips, the included DVD presents all of the grooves and band arrangements contained in the booklet.
