Classical percussion studies with Oswald Vogler (Berlin Philharmonic) at the Berlin University of the Arts; additional jazz studies; working drummer (live and studio musician); instructor at the Berlin University of the Arts, the State Music Academy in Berlin, the Zehlendorf and Reinickendorf Music Schools, as well as at the International Big Band Workshop in Neubrandenburg, Germany; was awarded an “Oscar” in 1997 as Germany’s best rock and pop drummer; since 2000 coach of various big bands and pop/jazz combos; television appearances; cooperative work with German-language and international artists; coach at Drumtrainer Berlin.
