This choral composition by Jean Kleeb is part of his Christmas cantata Canta Navidad. In Badalando os sinos de Natal one can feel the anticipation of the Christmas season which is always associated with the beginning of summertime in Latin America. This song is a small homage to the master of the bossa nova, the Brazilian guitarist João Gilberto. The last part ist a typical bosssa nova tongue twister: „badalando os sinos, bada badalando os sinos“ (tinkling, tinkling, tinkling bells). With Portuguese, English (The Bells Chime) and German lyrics (Weihnachtsglocken klingen).
