In this composition based on the poem of the same name by Else Lasker-Schüler (1869-1945), Yannick Wittmann combines the overtone-rich as well as the percussive sound of the handpan with the soft timbres of the choir. Thus, the latter not only sings, but also whispers, speaks and shouts. Instead of the handpan, a vibraphone can also be used as an alternative. The included HELBLING Media App offers the instrumental part (PDF).
