Toque de bossa’s compositions feature three captivating Latin American music styles—bossa nova, tango, and samba—in six groovy piano miniatures for students in their fourth year of instruction, as well as for experienced amateur piano players. These moderately difficult pieces by the German-Brazilian composer Jean Kleeb combine authentic Latin dance and rhythm feeling with distinctive piano playing patterns, designed to “fit the hands” comfortably. The pieces in Toque de bossa have easily manageable practice times.
