Jean Kleeb was born in Santo André in Brazil and studied composition, conducting and music education at the University of São Paolo. He has been living in Germany since 1991 and works as a choral director, music pedagogue, pianist, composer and arranger. His works for choir, piano and ensembles range from modern music to World Music and have been published by numerous publishing houses. Jean Kleeb is a lecturer, choral director, vocal trainer and was workshop director at the universities in Giessen and Dortmund in Germany. He has a particularly strong commitment to merge European choral music with various cultures, such as those of Latin America, North Africa and Asia.
