This is a pop arrangement of the well-known Ode to Joy just bursting with strength and in which joy does indeed arise. The rhythmic intro segues into the a cappella ballade in which, in addition to the soprano, the alto and bass voices are also allowed to take the lead. This arrangement by Jan-Hendrik Hermann was composed within the framework of the Virtual Choir Project Der größte Chor im Westen (The Largest Choir in the West) of the North Rhine Westfalia Choir Association.
