Winnie Brückner studied jazz singing and composition in Weimar, Germany and Lucerne, Switzerland and graduated in Applied Physiology of the Voice from the Lichtenberger® Institute. In 2002 she launched the internationally successful vocal quartet niniwe that has since then celebrated international achievements and won numerous prizes at international festivals. As a singer she performs in many different formations; besides that, she is a teacher for jazz choir at the Academy of Music in Weimar, Germany, and is a much sought-after vocal coach at a large number of a cappella and singing workshops. In the choir scene, she is also increasingly in demand as an arranger.
