Ramón Gil González
Born in Madrid, studied piano, violin and viola. As a pianist, he performed numerous recitals as a soloist and with chamber groups. His current main focus is vocal and choral music. He also studied choral conducting and is the musical director of the choir Peñas Arriba in Madrid since 2010 and works as the assistant director of Dr. Nuria Fernández in Carlos III University Choir. Ramón Gil Gonzales is the President of the Spanish Association of Choir Conductors (AEDCORO) since 2018. He is frequently invited jury member at choral contests and gives workshops. As a composer, Ramón wrote the vocal works Kyrie eleison, Amantmaremar and O Magnum Mysterium among others.
