The canon Prolet idva (translated: Spring is coming; Level: advanced) for three voices a cappella by Ramón Gil González conveys the theme of Spring. Not in a cheerful way but in a longing and hopeful manner. Picking the flowers over and over again means trying to seize the moment and carpe diem – “pluck the day”. You can shape your own future and growth and embrace everything on your journey and on your path.
In the newly composed canons (3 Levels: easy/medium/advanced) from the Panda’s CHOIREOGRAPHIES series, music and movement go hand in hand. Panda van Proosdij created the term “Choireography” as a designation for sequences of movements that she has developed especially for choirs in order to improve the sound and feeling for singing. To facilitate this, Panda and the experienced choral director, Tom Johnson, guide you through the music and choreographies with the accompanying videos.
