Vytautas Miškinis is a Lithuanian choral director, music educator and composer. Already during his studies at the Lithuanian State Conservatory he was an accompanist and conductor of the boys' choir Ąžuoliukas in Vilnius where he began his musical career himself at the age of seven and whose artistic director he has been since 1979. From 1975 to 1979 he headed the Kaunas State Choir. Since 1991 he has also been artistic director of the Vilnius vocal ensemble Museum musicum. Miškinis has been teaching Choral Conducting at the Music and Theater Academy of Lithuania. He was president of the Lithuanian Choral Society and composed more than 400 secular and about 400 sacred works.
