Jörg Edelmann studied music as part of the curriculum of teaching at the junior high school level in Augsburg. After eight years as a teacher he switched to the University at Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in 2001, where he has since been working as a music educator in teacher training. His responsibilities include directing the big band and the a cappella group at the university. Jörg Edelmann is arranger and composer for various a cappella settings, especially in the areas of pop music, evergreens and folk songs. He would like to reach as many people as possible with his interpretations – often spiced with a sense of humor – and to spread the joy of a cappella singing.
